What is KEOSOE
KEOSOE (Central Committee for the Protection of Wine Production) is the Greek authority responsible for overseeing wine production, classification, and the vineyard registry. All wine producers in Greece must be registered with KEOSOE and submit annual harvest and production declarations. Cepaos helps you compile the data required for KEOSOE registration and ongoing compliance.
Prerequisites
- Company data complete in Settings > Organisation: legal name, tax number (AFM), address.
- Vineyard blocks configured with variety, area, and regional unit in Vineyard > Blocks.
- At least one vessel registered in Cellar > Vessels.
Step by step
1. Access KEOSOE module
In the sidebar, under Compliance, click KEOSOE Registry. Your current registration status is displayed.
2. Complete the establishment record
Cepaos pre-fills your organisation data. Complete additional fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Establishment type | Winery, bottler, cooperative |
| Total capacity | Sum of vessel volumes in hectolitres |
| Oenologist | Responsible winemaker and licence number |
| KEOSOE registration number | Enter after approval |
3. Submit annual harvest declaration
After vintage, click + Harvest Declaration. Cepaos auto-fills:
- Grape quantities per variety and vineyard block.
- Origin region per block.
- Sugar content at reception.
Review and confirm. This data forms the basis for your KEOSOE annual declaration.
4. Submit annual production declaration
Click + Production Declaration. Cepaos compiles production volumes from your cellar book by wine type and PDO/PGI classification.
5. Export for submission
Click Export > PDF for the formatted declaration or Export > CSV for electronic submission to KEOSOE.
6. Archive confirmation
After KEOSOE acknowledges your submission, upload the confirmation to Cepaos for your records.
