What you need

How to connect it, step by step

Direct HTTP push

The equipment sends events to Cepaos with its own key.

  1. 1

    Add the equipment in IoT & Automation → Connected equipment → New equipment. At the end, Cepaos shows you an endpoint and a key that are displayed only once.

  2. 2

    Set up HTTPS sending on the equipment or its line software with that endpoint and the key as a Bearer token, following the manufacturer’s manual.

  3. 3

    Test with the sample curl command from the wizard and watch the event in “View live”.

What if the key is lost?

You regenerate it from the equipment record; the previous key stops working.

Bluetooth in the browser

Paired from desktop Chrome or Edge.

    Turn on the refractometer and enable its Bluetooth.

  2. 2

    Open Cepaos in desktop Chrome or Edge over HTTPS.

  3. 3

    In Grape Reception → New reception, pick the model in the refractometer panel and pair the device.

Does it work on a phone?

Only in browsers with Web Bluetooth (desktop Chrome or Edge). It is not available on iOS.
