USB / serial in the browser
It plugs into the computer and Cepaos reads the value from Chrome or Edge.

Connect the scale to the computer via USB or with an RS-232-to-USB adapter.

Open Cepaos in desktop Chrome or Edge (Safari and iOS devices do not support Web Serial).

In Grape Reception → New reception, use the scale panel, choose the protocol (RS-232 / USB (MT-SICS) / RS-232 / USB) and authorise the port.

Capture the gross weight and tare once the reading shows as stable. If the scale does not respond, you can enter the weight by hand.

You need a Cepaos account with the administrator role.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The reading happens in the browser; you only need the cable and, for a serial scale, a USB adapter.
